MODULAR FLUIDICS FOR SAMPLE PREPARATION
Sample preparation,
built into one plate.
Moddik combines fluid-handling steps in a single consumable, operated by the PrepStation.
01 / THE PLATFORM
Several lab operations.
A single fluidic plate.
Sample preparation often means moving material between tubes and instruments. Moddik brings the fluid-handling steps into a common consumable.

Single-use. Workflow-specific.
02 / INSIDE THE PRIMER PLATE
Five design principles.
One consumable.
Each plate is configured around the workflow it needs to run. Explore the features that make that possible.
03 / THE PREPSTATION
The plate defines it.
The actuator runs it.
01 / ACTUATE
Engage the modules.
The PrepStation applies actuation to the modules through a common interface. The plate contains the fluidic architecture for the workflow.
02 / RUN THE SEQUENCE
Move fluid through the plate.
Pumps and valves coordinate fluid movement between modules and wells. The sequence can combine operations such as mixing, washing, and reagent delivery.
03 / INTEGRATE
Connect to an instrument.
The actuator can form the basis of a benchtop PrepStation or be integrated into an existing instrument. The fluid path remains in the consumable.
Discuss integration ↗04 / WHAT WE’RE DESIGNING FOR
Address the handling
around your assay.
Our development work focuses on the practical constraints that affect sample preparation.
Fewer manual steps
Combine operations that otherwise require an operator to move the sample or switch tools.
Reagent-efficient workflows
Consider reagent delivery and working volumes as part of the fluidic design.
Less sample handling
Reduce transfers and design fluid movement around the needs of the sample.
Application-specific control
Configure the plate for the protocol and the instrument it needs to work with.
05 / HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Your protocol,
translated into a plate.
Moddik provides the fluidic architecture. You bring the assay and the application. We develop the workflow together.
Define the protocol.
Walk us through your assay, inputs, outputs, and constraints. Together, we identify the handling steps and what success needs to look like.
Map the fluidic steps.
Translate the protocol into a sequence of fluid-handling operations and the interfaces each step requires.
Configure the modules.
Select the pumping, valving, mixing, and other capabilities needed for your application.
Run the sequence.
Bring the plate and actuator together to develop and evaluate the automated workflow.
Connect to your platform.
Develop the interfaces that fit the assay, instrument, and wider laboratory workflow.
Plan the next stage.
Agree on validation requirements and the practical path from development to broader use.
We’re onboarding select partners for co-development and OEM integration.
